Your horse will be thoroughly assessed including a full history as well as any relevant information from your vet.
There will be a gait assessment including assessment under saddle if required followed by a full palpatory assessment and more specific range of motion tests to ensure a thorough picture is obtained.
Treatment may include soft tissue mobilisation, dry needling, joint mobilisations, stretches, laser therapy and pulsed electromagnetic therapy.
You will then be advised on follow up and given a specific home exercise programme to carry out.
We will work closely with your veterinary surgeon to communicate our findings and ensure that your horse receives the appropriate treatment.
