treatment and rehabilitation for animals and humans

Rider
Riders often carry injuries, muscle imbalances, restrictions or weaknesses that affect their position in the saddle. In turn this can cause their horse to compensate or struggle to move correctly.

A detailed history of will be taken of any pain and previous injuries as well as any medical conditions. The rider will be thoroughly assessed on the ground and in the saddle.

Any problems will be identified and treated through a number of techniques including soft tissue mobilisations, joint mobilisations, dry needling, stretches, strengthening and stabilising exercises, taping and electrotherapy modalities.

You will be advised on follow up and given a specific home exercise programme to carry out.

Joint horse rider assessments can also be carried out to ensure that both are in an optimal condition to function effectively and successfully as a team.
