treatment and rehabilitation for animals and humans

Small animals
If your dog has arthritis, needs or is recovering from orthopaedic or neurological surgery or is lame or finding activities such as jumping or sitting painful, physiotherapy may be able to help.

Your animal will be thoroughly assessed including a full history from the owner and their veterinarian. There will be a gait and movement assessment as well as a complete palpatory and joint range assessment.

Any additional testing required will also be performed including neurological and proprioceptive tests to ensure a thorough picture of their condition is obtained.

Treatment may include soft tissue mobilisation, joint mobilisations, stretches, laser therapy and pulsed electromagnetic therapy.

You will then be advised on follow up and given a specific home exercise programme to carry out. We work closely with your veterinary surgeon to communicate our findings and ensure your pet receives the appropriate treatment.

Pricing: Canine

Initial appointment: $145 inc. GST (1 hour).
Travel costs may apply.
